IDHS Family Participation Fees

This site explains fees and includes electronic payment information.  Related resource: E-Pay is Available for Families (created Sept. 2021) from EI Clearinghouse provides detailed instructions on how families can pay online using a credit/debit card or e-check. 

Family Fee Determination

Links to the CFC Procedure Manual Chapter 11 - EI Family Participation Fees.  The Illinois Department of Human Services provides policies and procedures for how the family fee is determined, assessed, and collected in the Illinois Early Intervention System.  The following are forms from the CFC Procedure Manual related to Family Fees:

Family Fee Questions & Answers (pdf)

A question and answer document to explain family fees in the Illinois Early Intervention System.  Answers to such questions as "who pays a family fee?" and "what if I can't afford my family fee?"  will be provided.  Please note that the family fee calculation table changes on an annual basis and the table in this document is not the current table.
