Notes about this training:
- Both system trainings, Online System Overview and SOFU, must be completed within the 3 years before applying for an Illinois Early Intervention Credential. If completed more than 3 years before applying for the credential, individuals will need to repeat both.
- SOFU uses direct instruction, interactive group activities, and discussion, to review the information presented in the online training modules. Any updates relevant to policies, procedures, and best practices in Illinois Early Intervention are also presented.
- In line with University and IDHS Early Intervention guidelines regarding COVID-19, EITP will not be hosting face-to-face events until further notice.
- Service Coordinators do not need to take the "Online System Overview" training, but they must complete the "Service Coordination Online (Blended)" training along with the SOFU training.
