The Counseling Center, along with New Student Programs, International Student and Scholar Services, and the Asian American Cultural Center will offer a workshop addressing some of the challenges international students and scholars potentially face when writing in U.S. academia. The session will suggest writing strategies including how to use campus and online resources. Participants will have the opportunity to practice some of the strategies and discuss personal experiences and questions regarding academic writing.

The event will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Asian American Cultural Center, which is located at 1210 W. Nevada St. in Urbana.

Dinner is provided, and the event is free of charge!
