The Counseling Center is saddened by the loss of student Vicente Mundo, and our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy. We understand that many students may be having a range of grief responses and can benefit from assistance sorting through their experiences and/or guidance with coping strategies.
We’re located in the Student Services Building at the corner of Sixth and John Streets in Champaign and are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Whenever possible, we aim to see students on a same-day basis. Please call 217-333-3704 for an appointment, or stop by if you feel you need to see a counselor immediately. If you need to speak with someone after 5 p.m., please call the Crisis Line at 217-359-4141.
