Beginning in January 2016, the Counseling Center’s Alcohol and Other Drug Office (AODO)  will be located in the Turner Student Services Building at 610 E. John Street in Champaign. AODO was previously been located in McKinley Health Center. The phone and fax numbers for the office will stay the same. Students checking in for AODO services can do so on the second floor the Student Services Building.

For over a decade the Counseling Center’s Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) program has been housed at the McKinley Health Center. The Counseling Center has been fortunate enough to acquire additional space in the Turner building that allows our AOD staff to join their colleagues. 

Dr. Palinkas and his staff at McKinley have been very gracious hosts over the years and while our AOD staff are moving, our collaboration with Dr. Palinkas and his staff will continue, as they play a vital role in this important work.  We wish to thank him and his staff for their past, and continue collaboration and support.
