The student registration for Summer 2020 AUCA Career Fairs and Company Info Sessions is now available. The AUCA (American Universities’ China Association) Career Fairs are aiming at students and fresh graduates who are looking for employment opportunities in China. Latest Update on the July 6 Guidance Issued by SEVP/ICE
You may have heard already about this news that came out this afternoon. The U.S. government has agreed to rescind the July 6 policy statements and allow the previously issued guidance for Spring 2020 to remain in effect. Please take a look at the ISSS News Blog site for more information. The ISSS COVID-19 FAQ page will help you get answers to many questions related to your plans for Fall 2020. ISSS also offers Zoom-based Q&A sessions to students.

2021 Full-time & Internship Positions at Akuna Capital, Chicago, IL
Akuna Capital, a Chicago-based multinational finance company, posted its 2021 full-time and internship positions on Handshake last week. The jobs are various from developers to traders. This company receives applications of international students with a CPT or OPT work authorization.
2020 Post-graduation Internship at Korea Investment & Securities, Seoul, South Korea
Korea Investment & Securities, one of the leading securities companies in South Korea, is receiving applications for their post-graduation internship that targets Korean students who graduated from foreign universities in 2020. Those who perform well during the four-week-long internship will be considered for their full-time positions. The application deadline is July 20 (Korean Time). Please see the details here.
2021 Summer Intern at JPMorgan Chase for Spanish/Portuguese Speakers
JP Morgan Chase posted its Summer 2021 Wealth Management Analyst – Latin America internship on Handshake. If you are a Spanish/Portuguese speaker and interested in wealth management areas in Latin America, please consider applying.
International Relations Internships at DC-based Non-profits, Remote
Some DC-based non-profit think tanks have posted remote and unpaid internship opportunities on Handshake. The Stimson Center that is specialized in refugee flows, arms trafficking, and terrorism posted internship positions for those who are interested in international affairs in Southeast Asia, Japan, and China. The application deadline for all these positions is July 17. Global Taiwan Institute, a DC-based non-profit, is hiring interns who can work from late August through early December. On Handshake, they say that this unpaid internship may be entirely remote. The application deadline is July 20. For details, please see this.
2021 Full-time & Internship Positions at Plante Moran for Japanese Bilinguals
Plante Moran, one of the major accounting firms in the U.S., posted full-time and internship positions on Handshake that will start either in January or summer 2021. This firm may receive applications of international students who are bilingual in Japanese and English.
2021 Global Future Leaders Program of Lenovo, Beijing, China
As this newsletter informed you last week, Lenovo, a Chinese tech giant, has posted their 2021 recruiting program on Handshake today. For details, you can search on Handshake by the name of this company or visit Lenovo’s Global Future Leaders Program page.
