Dear Colleagues,
I’m pleased to announce that Dr. Praveen Kumar, the Colonel Harry F. and Frankie M. Lovell Endowed Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering, will become the next Executive Director of the Prairie Research Institute, pending Board of Trustees approval. Dr. Kumar has an exciting vision for building on PRI’s broad research portfolio, and I am delighted to have such a highly regarded researcher leading the Institute’s next chapter.
I hope you will join me in welcoming Dr. Kumar to this new role, and in thanking Dr. Jeffrey Stein for stepping up to manage this complex, multidisciplinary organization over the last several months.
