In January, we shared information related to changes to our civil service vacation and sick leave policies. Beginning with the academic year 2021-2022, leave accrual, usage, and reporting for civil service overtime exempt employees will be standardized to function similar to academic professional employees.
With these updates come some procedural changes in how affected employees will record leave time. Your university or system human resources office will communicate these changes to department human resource contacts and affected employees prior to the August implementation.
