Dear colleagues,
This fall, the University of Illinois System will launch a new mental health training program that will be available online to all faculty, staff, and students.
The training is designed to help members of our campus community recognize signs of mental health challenges in others and themselves, while providing practical guidance on how to respond, offer support, and connect with available university resources. Participation in this training is voluntary.
We are committed to fostering a culture of care and awareness, and this training is one step toward equipping our community with the tools to support one another.
More information about the training will be provided as we get closer to the launch. Please help us raise awareness of this training and inform others about this opportunity, which might equip them with tools that might positively affect the well-being of their colleagues and students.
Thank you for your support of this important initiative.
Sincerely,
John Coleman
