Dear colleagues:
The Office of the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs is seeking nominations for the OpEd Project Public Voices Fellowship 2023-24. We just concluded the fourth year of this program and the cohort of 18 has been very successful in publishing op-ed pieces, as well as being invited to speak on radio programs and other forms of media. The fellowship is open to 20 faculty members at the three universities. The cost is fully covered by my office.
Please nominate faculty members who would benefit from this opportunity and share this announcement with others who may also know good candidates. Please submit nominations using this nomination form by May 31. Nominees will be contacted by my office and asked to complete an application form as part of the selection process. The application deadline is June 9.
If you have any questions about the program, please contact Sarah Zehr Gantz (szehr@uillinois.edu ) or Sonja Bean (sbean@uillinois.edu). Thank you for your help in promoting this important program.
Best,
Nicholas P. Jones
Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs
