I am pleased to share updates to Provost’s Communications 2, 9, and 26.
As previously announced, changes have been made to Provost’s Communication 9 and Provost’s Communication 26 to include updated information related to new optional statements in the promotion and tenure process. Additional updates to Communications 9 and 26 include guidance around teaching evaluations and the new student forms for feedback on teaching, as well as the removal of COVID-19 considerations.
Additionally, Provost’s Communication 2 has been updated to include a section related to working outside of Illinois with guidelines and considerations for working outside of the state starting August 2026. Faculty offer letter templates in Communication 2 now include language about the position’s expected primary work location.
