I’m writing to alert you that later today I plan to send this email announcing that Michael DeLorenzo will be the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Operations, pending approval by the Board of Trustees.
Mike has been a critical member of the university’s senior leadership for many years, overseeing an extensive portfolio of units across campus. He has also led strongly as Chair of the COVID-19 Executive Leadership Committee. This new title is a recognition of the work he has been doing, and will continue to do, to advance the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
