We write to inform you that we have launched the search for the position of Senior Director, Institute of Government and Public Affairs (IGPA). David Merriman, Professor and Interim Director, will continue to serve in the role until a candidate is hired.
This is a full-time, 12-month leadership position within the Office of the Executive Vice President/Vice President for Academic Affairs and serves as the executive officer for IGPA. The senior director engages with tenured faculty at each university on research and public engagement activities centered around public policy and state government. In addition to collaborating and partnering with multidisciplinary faculty, the senior director oversees 11 administrative staff, as well as additional fellows and scholars.
