Dear Colleagues,
Increasing positive COVID-19 cases, holiday travel and the emergence of the Omicron variant present real risks to our community and fans. Starting on Jan. 1, 2022 and until further notice, all attendees of university-sponsored events open to the public with more than 200 people in attendance will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test or COVID-19 vaccination record to enter the facility or event space.
This new policy aligns with guidelines for university faculty, staff and students. It also aligns with Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, which already has a version of this policy in place, and other large arenas including the United Center.
We are taking this action now to maximize safety while continuing to deliver in-person experiences. More details will be shared soon. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
