I have received updated guidelines for 2025-2026 sabbatical leaves of absence from the University of Illinois System’s Office of the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The guidelines are available online at Guidelines for Sabbatical Leaves of Absence. In the “Applications and General Procedures” section on the guidelines page you will find links to the online application and a help document for the application.
The application form is now live. Applications and approvals will all happen online.
