  • Announcing Partnerships for Evidence-Based Public Policy

    The Center for Social & Behavioral Science and Institute of Government and Public Affairs are excited to announce the second year of the Partnerships for Evidence-based Public Policy (PEPP) fellowship program in 2026-27. This program creates a bridge between research experts and the public by enabling mid-career faculty across the Illinois System to conduct year-long policy research projects with Illinois government partners. PEPP fellows form a cohort, participating in trainings on topics such as the policy research lifecycle and policy communication, as well as networking and collaborative work.   

    PEPP plans to welcome up to five fellows for the 2026-27 academic year. While the program welcomes policy research across all domains, the Climate Jobs Institute (CJI) and the Kellner Center for Neurogenomics, Behavior, and Society will each support fellows to facilitate policy research directly related to their missions.  Read more about the PEPP-CJI fellowship opportunity here.

    The PEPP application will open on February 1, 2026. A virtual info session will be held on January 28 at 1pm.
