As a reminder, the Coffee with the Provost on sexual harassment will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 9:00-10:00 am in 300 Levis Faculty Center (919 West Illinois Street).
Sexual harassment has been in the news both nationally and locally. In his State of the University address, Chancellor Jones promised our campus community to move forward quickly on these issues; to make sure our administrative policies and practices along with our governance rules and Statutes provide the protection for our students, faculty and staff to pursue their studies and careers, and to align those with the values and standards of conduct that define our community. Please join us for a discussion of these efforts, to share your concerns, and to learn about best practices for your unit in this area.
