State law and University policy require the completion of an annual disclosure of non-University activities. Federal regulations also govern the disclosure and management of potential conflicts of interest. In accordance with these requirements, on September 17, employees will be directed via massmail to START myDisclosures, the online disclosure application.
Deadlines for 2018 RNUA Process:
October 8, 2018: RNUAs due for department review
October 29, 2018: RNUAs due for college (or 2nd level) review
November 19, 2018: RNUAs due for OVCR review

Updated Policy
In July, the Board of Trustees approved revisions to the Policy on Conflicts of Commitment and Interest. While the fundamental policy remains the same, some procedures have been revised. An informational session on the updates is scheduled for August 31 from 2-3 pm. Those interested in attending can register here: https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/9131566.
Recusal
If you have a conflict of interest in reviewing an employee’s disclosure, for example, a family or business relationship with that employee, and need to recuse yourself, please notify the COI office, coi@illinois.edu or 217-333-0034.
