The OpEd Project Public Voices Fellowship – Call for 2022-2023 Nominations
The Office of the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs is seeking nominations for the OpEd Project Public Voices Fellowship 2022-2023. We just concluded the third year of The OpEd Project Public Voices Fellowship and the cohort of 17 has been very successful in publishing op-ed pieces, as well as being invited to speak on radio programs and other forms of media. The program is open to 20 tenured faculty at the three universities. This year, we will open two of the 20 slots to non-tenured faculty on a pilot basis. The cost is fully covered by my office. Please nominate individuals you think would benefit from this opportunity and share with your networks or others who may also be in a position to nominate faculty. Please submit nominations at https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/1915666328. Nominees will be contacted by my office and asked to complete an application form as part of the selection process. The application deadline is June 19, 2022.
If you have any questions about the program, please contact Sarah Zehr (szehr@uillinois.edu ) or Sonja Bean (sbean@uillinois.edu). Thank you for your help in promoting this important program.
Best,
Avijit Ghosh
Interim Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs
