Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that Sean Reeder has accepted the position of Assistant Vice President of the Office Capital Programs and Utility Services and his appointment was approved by the Board of Trustees at its May 16, 2019 meeting.
Sean joined the Office of Capital Programs in 2009 and has been serving as the Interim Director since May 2016. Sean will continue to lead the system offices of Capital Programs and Utilities Administration, where he also serves as the President of Prairieland Energy Incorporated.
With his prior experience in technology commercialization, real estate development, construction, and engineering, Sean brings a breadth of experience to this position. He is known for his expertise, institutional knowledge, and commitment to customer service.
Sean holds two degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: a Bachelor of Science in general engineering (1994), and a Master of Business Administration (2002). Sean is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education policy, organization, and leadership.
