We write to inform you that the position of Director, Institute of Government and Public Affairs (IGPA), will be vacated by Jon Davis, Interim Director, IGPA and Professor of Accountancy and R.C. Evans Endowed Chair in Business, when he returns to his full-time faculty position within the Department of Accountancy at Urbana-Champaign. He has served in the interim director role since 2017.
This full-time, 12-month leadership position within the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs serves as the executive officer for IGPA. The director engages with tenured faculty at each university on research and public engagement activities centered around public policy and state government. In addition to collaborating and partnering with multidisciplinary faculty, the director oversees nine administrative staff and additional fellows and scholars.
