Dear Colleagues,
The latest update to My-UI-Financials is now live, incorporating several improvements to the user interface and introducing new functionality as part of the Financial Summary Trends tab.
No action is necessary if you or your staff are already taking advantage of My-UI-Financials. The new and improved features outlined below are available now.
However, if you are new to My-UI-Financials and would like to gain access, your college or department’s designated Report Assigner can grant and maintain access using My-UI-Financials Access Manager. Email myuifinancials@uillinois.edu to get connected with your Report Assigner today!
Financial Summary Trends Tab
The Financial Summary Trends tab is an exciting new tool, and the most impactful feature of this update. It is designed to aid in the budget development process by providing users with the ability to aggregate financial information at various levels of the Organization code hierarchy, like college or department, across the previous four years, plus the current fiscal year.
Within the Financial Summary Trends tab, six tabs provide varying degrees of financial details, including two tabs focused on graphs to assist with data comparisons.
This Financial Summary Trends tab is accessible within the top-level My-UI-Financials tab alongside the All Funds and Self-Supporting & Service Plans tabs.
Additional User Interface Improvements
In addition to the new Financial Summary Trends tab, the following user interface improvements are live:
1. The top-level tabs are reorganized to display the Access Manager tab alongside the My-UI-Financials tab.
2. The Help tab is relocated to the lower left corner as a link to the Help Guide.
3. The Fiscal Year and Fiscal Period filters are displayed above the identifying filters like Chart and Department.
4. The Get Records button is now labeled Filter, and the Clear Row button has been changed to Reset Filters.
