Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to share the new Facilities & Services Strategic Plan “Foundations for the Future” with you and outline the ambitious goals and actions for our organization in the coming years. These efforts align with “The Next 150” on the Urbana campus and the University of Illinois “Strategic Framework,” which reinforce the university’s tradition and legacy as a force for public engagement and scholarship aimed at solving societal challenges on a global scale. “Foundations for the Future” sets the priorities for our unit through 10 strategic themes and related objectives that will have a transformative impact across our operations and for the campus. The plan represents the dedication, professionalism, knowledge, and ideas of our staff and ensures that F&S continues on the path as an innovative, customer-focused service organization.
This plan is the embodiment of the F&S mission, which emphasizes our commitment to being an active partner with the university in learning, discovery, engagement, and economic development. We look forward to working with you to achieve these goals that will contribute to the university’s excellence. The digital version of this plan is available here, and you will receive a printed copy of the plan via campus mail this week.
