Dear Colleagues,
As a response to recent security concerns, at this time, Zoom has removed file sharing capabilities from within Zoom meetings. This change applies to hosts and attendees and impacts all previously scheduled and future meetings. We have not received information from Zoom if this change is permanent.
To share files within Zoom meetings, we recommend using a university cloud storage option, such as U of I Box, Google Drive, or OneDrive.
Zoom is looking at other changes, and the current situation may require them to make these changes with short notice. We will continue to share updates as soon as we learn more from Zoom. All information we confirm will be updated first at https://go.illinois.edu/zoomsecurity.
