The university has reached tentative agreements with both AFSCME 698 & AFSCME 3700. As required by the collective bargaining agreement, bargaining representatives and AFSCME members will need to be released without being required to use personal benefit time or loss of pay to be able to cast their vote on ratifying the collective bargaining agreement.
Please ensure that all supervisors and human resources staff in your organization are aware of the schedule and requirement to release covered employees to exercise their voting privilege.
The voting schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, April 30, 2025: 9am-4pm
Thursday, May 1, 2025: 10am-1pm
Friday, May 2, 2025: 9am-3pm
