Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that Paul Redman has accepted the position of Executive Associate Provost for Budget & Resource Planning effective April 1, pending University of Illinois Board of Trustees approval. While pending board approval, his title will be Interim Executive Associate Provost for Budget & Resource Planning.
As the senior most staff member in the Office of the Associate Chancellor/Vice Provost for Budget & Resource Planning, he will provide budget planning and allocation advice to the Vice Provost and Provost, collaborate closely with the deans and college budget officers, and oversee the daily functions and management of staff in the office.
Paul brings nearly 15 years of resource management experience at the University of Illinois, most recently as Associate Provost for Capital Planning, and prior to that as Associate Dean for Administration in the College of Fine and Applied Arts.
In addition to both a Bachelor and Master of Music from The Juilliard School, he holds a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business.
