    Administrative Information Technology Services (AITS) is seeking an AI Analyst to help identify and shape AI powered business process solutions across the University of Illinois System. You will be part of a team that supports a $7B university system, working with campus and university stakeholders to understand their processes, uncover opportunities for AI, and turn those into practical solutions that save time and improve services.

    In this role, you will meet with business and academic units to explore where AI can add value, analyze existing workflows and data, and help define clear functional and technical requirements for AI projects. You will support the design, testing, and rollout of new AI tools and automations, and help ensure they align with privacy, security, and responsible AI guidelines. You will also help track outcomes and share insights so that teams understand the impact of these solutions.

    Our existing business process and AI solutions have already helped clients reclaim more than 250,000 hours of effort, and demand is growing quickly. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with clients and data, mapping out processes, and helping translate between business needs and technical solutions in the rapidly evolving AI space.

  • AI Developer

    Administrative Information Technology Services (AITS) is looking for an AI Developer to help design, build, and support AI powered business process solutions across the University of Illinois System. You’ll join a collaborative team that partners with units across our $7B system to turn high value ideas into practical tools that save time and improve services.

    In this role, you’ll work across the AI lifecycle from exploring use cases with analysts to training and refining models, shaping prompts and workflows, and building integrations and applications. You’ll work with platforms like Azure AI, Copilot Studio, and on premises large language models to create solutions that let our clients focus on more meaningful, value added work.

    Our existing automation and AI solutions have already helped units reclaim more than 250,000 hours of effort, and demand is growing quickly. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys coding, learning new tools, and solving real problems with AI while working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
