The University of Illinois Administrative Information Technology Services (AITS) unit seeks a Security and Risk Analyst to assess, design, review, and improve information security controls across AITS and the University System Offices. This position will support enterprise risk reduction by performing third-party security risk assessments, evaluating control design and effectiveness, reviewing and testing controls, and partnering with other technology groups, procurement, compliance, and business stakeholders to strengthen security practices within the System Offices. The position will require practical security knowledge, strong analytical judgement, clear documentation skills, and the ability to translate control expectations into actionable recommendations.
