The Statement of Economic Interests must be filed online with the Secretary of State by today, May 1, 2025, to avoid late filing penalties.
The fines associated with late filing of the Statement of Economic Interests form with the Office of the Secretary of State are as follows:
- May 2-15: A flat $15 fine will be assessed to all late filers by the Secretary of State.
- May 16-filing: A rate of $100/day, in addition to the flat $15 filing penalty, will be assessed until the completed form is received by the Office of the Secretary of State.
Anyone choosing to complete a paper Statement of Economic Interests form must mail it directly to the Secretary of State.
The Supplemental Statement of Interests forms are due to the Executive Ethics Commission May 1, 2025. There are no financial penalties associated with failure to file this form as there are with the Statement of Economic Interests.
