Cornell Diversity Programs in Engineering (DPE) is recruiting for two summer research opportunities, please circulate the announcement to eligible undergraduates. Applications for both programs are due February 15th.
Cornell GeoPaths Geoscience Learning Ecosystem (new opportunity!)
This is a paid 9-week summer internship at Cornell called CorGGLE (Cornell Geopaths Geoscience Learning Ecosystem). This program is funded by the National Science Foundation GeoPaths program.
Students from under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply and those with non-geoscience majors including: environmental science, physics, chemistry, geography, engineering, math, applied math, biology and computer science as well as social and behavioral sciences.

Cornell LSAMP REU
CU LSAMP-REU is a paid summer research opportunity that provides undergraduate participants the opportunity to work with distinguished faculty and staff as well as network with others in their field of interest through weekly luncheons.
Through this one-on-one partnership, participants will gain theoretical knowledge and practical training in academic research and scientific experimentation. CU LSAMP-REU was developed to aid in the retention of traditionally underrepresented minority groups in the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
