  • The Cornell University 2013 Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Summer Undergraduate Research Program: June 3 - August 9, 2013; Application Deadline: March 1, 2013

    This 10 week research program is designed for students who have completed at least two semesters of college by the start of the Summer Research Program; have at least two semesters remaining of their undergraduate education at the start of the program; have a 3.0 GPA or better; are African American, Hispanic/Latino (a), American Indian/Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander; and are US citizens or permanent residents.  Students will conduct and present research under the auspices of a Cornell Engineering faculty research mentor whose goal is to help the student gain theoretical knowledge and practical training in academic research and scientific experimentation.  Please visit www.engineering.cornell.edu/diversity/summer/lsamp.cfm for more information and to apply.  Inquiries can be made to Jami Joyner at dpeng@cornell.edu or 607-255-6403.

    The XSEDE Scholars Program is a year-long program for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students from underrepresented minority groups and women in computational sciences.
