Since the early afternoon of Wed 2021-01-06 (roughly 30 hours after we first enabled it), clicking the "SSO Login" button at ipam.illinois.edu has resulted in a browser connection timeout.
Infoblox technical support has identified this as a known issue with the scalability of their SSO implementation, which will be fixed in an upcoming software release. They also provided a manual workaround for us to reset the broken state, which was briefly effective (at 10:50am CST on Fri 2021-01-08), but the problem reoccurred within less than an hour.
As a result, we are disabling the SSO Login feature entirely until further notice.
Please continue to use the Alternative Login Method, making sure to provide your full Active Directory userPrincipalName (typically yournetid@illinois.edu).
We are hopeful that a future upgrade will make it possible for us to offer SSO Login again. If and when we do, the alternative login method will also remain available, and our intention (though we cannot provide a guarantee) is that any GUI personalizations you make now using the alternative login method will survive that upgrade and continue to be visible when you use the alternative login method, though of course they will not be visible to your SSO Login identity (as explained in Known Issues).
