On Tuesday, November 30 between 5:00-7:00am, the production IP Address Management appliance grid will be patched with a software hotfix from the vendor, and SSO Login via Shibboleth will be re-enabled.
This hotfix resolves the vulnerability in IPAM's SSO implementation which made it necessary for us to disable the SSO Login feature in September.
As before,
- The Alternative Login Method will also remain available.
- The two login methods still use two different underlying user profiles with independent GUI personalizations (as explained in Known Issues).
How will services be affected during the maintenance window?
- During the maintenance window, IT Professionals will not be able to log in to Grid Manager (via the GUI or the API) to make DNS and DHCP configuration changes.
