The campus' Office of Public Engagement cordially invites the entire College of Education community to participate in the Campus-Community Compact to Accelerate Social Justice (Compact) Convening happening on Wednesday, June 21 from 2 to 7:30 p.m.
The Convening of the Campus-Community Compact will involve a variety of activities:
- Compact Informational Sessions: 2–5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 101 Trade Center Dr., Champaign. Several interactive sessions to discuss the Compact's six focus areas that are critical to a vibrant community: Accessible Technology; Community Health, Wellness & Resilience; Community Relations; Economic Development; Inclusive Education; and Workforce Development.
- Community Picnic: 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Hessel Park, 1400 Grandview Dr., Champaign. Picnic includes free food from Hickory River, Maize Mexican Grill, and Kona Ice while supplies last.
