Mostafa Hanafy, Ph.D. candidate Education Policy, Organization & Leadership, has co-authored an article in the Journal of Multidisciplinary Evaluation Journal's latest issue.
Mostafa, along with Dr. Melissa Goodnight and Dr. Valerie O'Brien, published on the use of photovoice as an evaluation method for an equity-focused summer bridge program. Photovoice fosters critical dialogue and influences programmatic change by allowing participants to share their perspectives through photography and narratives.
The study highlights practical and ethical considerations, demonstrates how it enhances engagement, and provides rich qualitative data often overlooked by traditional methods.
