Curriculum & Instruction assistant professor Giselle Martinez Negrette, and EPOL Alumnae Marlee Bunch have been selected by the National Academy of Education as Spencer Postdoctoral Fellows for 2025-26.
Martinez Negrette's project is titled "Language, Space, and Demographic Change: Examining the White Space of Dual Language Education in the U.S. Midwest."
Bunch, Ed.D. '23 EPOL, is an interdisciplinary educator, scholar, and author. She will conduct her research in conjunction with Rutgers University. Her project is titled "A Litany for Survival: Un-hushing Oral Histories and Lessons from Black Educators."
