Congratulations to recent alumni of the Department of Special Education, Stacy McGuire, Ph.D. '22 SPED, and Courtney O'Grady, Ph.D. '22 SPED, who have each received prestigious awards from the Division for Research of the Council for Exceptional Children.
McGuire won the Student Research Award: Mixed Methods Design for her dissertation Preservice General Educators' Behavior Management Needs and Training: A Mixed Methods Study.
O'Grady won the Student Research Award: Qualitative Design for her dissertation Early Educatior Perceptions of Behavior.
