Zan-zendegi-azadi in Farsi translates to woman, life, freedom. Join Iranian students, including Curriculum & Instruction doctoral student Shafagh Hadinezhad, as they present a play and Q&A happening on Saturday, December 3 at 6 p.m. at the Channing Murray Foundation on campus in Urbana.
The performance, aiming to help non-Iranian audiences understand the situation, will delve deeper into the ongoing woman-centered revolutionary movement in Iran and the contagious courage of women and men whose voices against oppression need to be heard.
Admission is free, but donations to the Channing Murray Foundation are welcome.
