  • Repurposed anti-malarial compounds kill diarrheal parasite, study finds

    An anti-malarial drug class also kills the Cryptosporidium parasite, an infection that has no effective treatment or cure to date, a new study found. Pathobiology professor Sumiti Vinayak was the lead author of the multi-institutional study.
