  • Bringing a game to life through dance

Photo of three women dancing in a studio. One is wearing a blue, black, white and green-striped sweater; one is in a lavendar sports bra; and one has a light blue baseball shirt knotted mid-torso.

Choreographer, composer and dancer Nawal Assougdam, center, is joined by dancers Sophie Philbrick, left, and Yuno Kimura, right, as they prepare for a performance of an original work based on the popular game Bop It! Assougdam created movements to match the Bop It! commands. The trio rehearsed at the Nevada Dance Studio before its performance at “Skeleton Dances,” a dance show featuring new works by students.
