The Wellness Education Coordinator VISTA serves primarily to develop healthy living components to the Student Stewards Program, which uses public parks as learning laboratories where students engage in hands-on citizen science.

Selected students participate as interns appointed at one of 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities. They perform research, under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the DOE mission.

Stream and Lake monitoring

10-week internship program that provides undergraduate students with a STEM research experience funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

DEVELOP addresses environmental and public policy issuesthrough interdisciplinary research projects that apply the lens of NASA Earth observations to community concerns around the globe.

Open to currently enrolled students, recent college graduates, early and trainsitioning career professionals, and current and former U.S. Military service members.
