    The Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA) is seeking a Grant & Contract Assistant for its administrative office in Boise. The position will monitor conservation and wildlife federal-aid and state programs; identify long-range objectives and short-term goals based on in-depth knowledge of program regulations and requirements; interpret governing rules and regulations, operating policies, and procedure and compliance.

  • Permitting Technician

    The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is seeking applications for the two full-time positions of Permitting Technician. The Permitting Technicians will be joining a team that works cross departmentally to protect and enhance natural resources within the Minnehaha Creek watershed through the administration of rules, monitoring construction for compliance, and through partnerships to achieve greater natural resource outcomes than can be achieved solely through regulation.

  • Recruiting Wildlife Specialist for Wildlife Damage Management in Greater Chicago Area, IL

    The Illinois Wildlife Services program is recruiting a Wildlife Specialist (Biological Science Technician) for work in managing conflicts with wildlife. The position will be a full-time, term position for 13 months. The appointment may be extended if funding is available. The starting salary will range between $16.77/hour (GS-404-5/1) and $20.78/hour (GS-404-7/1), depending on qualifications. Eligible fringe benefits will be provided for this position. Eligible relocation costs for current Wildlife Services employees may be reimbursed. The starting date is negotiable, but would prefer the incumbent to start in mid-February or earlier if possible.

  • Allegan Conservation District - District Administrator

    The Allegan Conservation District is seeking a District Administrator to manage the operations of the Conservation District. This job consists of primarily office work with some out-of-office travel for meetings and networking. Duties will require working at a computer terminal for a significant portion of time. Some nights and weekends will be required. Candidate must be able to pass a federal background check.
