Let's try this again! Building on our efforts from last fall, please consider joining us on Friday, 2/28, from 12.00p-1.00p in Everitt 2102 for our inaugural Writing Across Media (WAM) Student Work Showcase. In this gallery walk-style event, we will showcase multimodal projects composed by WAM students and informally chat with guests and students from sections of the course. An event flyer is located
here; feel free to circulate widely!
For CWS grads, this event is an especially good opportunity to learn more about (teaching) WAM and the varieties of student work that come out of the class. For others less familiar with WAM, this is a chance to learn a little more about more the course and the unique teaching and learning opportunities it provides. More information about WAM can be found
here.
If you need disability-related accommodations to better participate in this event, please let us know. In terms of building accessibility, an automatic door to Everitt is located on the east side of the building at the north, lower-level ramped entrance. A building elevator is accessible on the east side of the building's main corridor, while accessible restrooms are located in Rooms 138 and Room 140 on the first floor of the building. Additionally, Everitt is reachable through the following MTD bus routes: the Yellow, Red, Blue, Brown, Teal, and 22 bus lines. The closest bus stops are located at Green and Wright and Wright and Healey. More building information can be viewed
here.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
