College of Education Dean Chrystalla Mouza and EPOL associate professor Felecia Commodore have been named to the search committee by University President Tim Killeen to find the next Chancellor of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Mouza will serve as the only Dean on the search committee, while Commodore will be one of six faculty representatives. The committee will also feature three students, two academic professionals, and one civil servant.
They will be tasked with selecting the new Chancellor to succeed Robert Jones, who is stepping down at the end of the 2024-25 year.
