The Urbana School Board approved the appointment of Dr. Laura Taylor, '06 Ed.D. EPOL, as the school district's Executive Director of Leadership Development.
Taylor, an Urbana native, will support and evaluate building principals within the district. She comes to Urbana from Champaign Unit 4, where she was Deputy Superintendent for 12 years.
Taylor started her career as an administrator in Urbana, first as associate principal and later principal at Urbana High School. She also taught in the College of Education as an adjunct instructor in EPOL.
