Rebecca Taylor, assistant professor of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership, is the co-editor of the new book Ethics in Higher Education: Promoting Equity and Inclusion Through Case-Based Inquiry, published by Harvard University Press.
The book, being released in November 2021, features nearly 60 contributors including Education at Illinois' professor Nick Burbules and current EPOL graduate student Jessica Harless.
Taylor and co-editor Ashley Floyd Kuntz explore the many facets of on-campus ethical dilemmas in higher education and the careful, nuanced decision-making processes required to address them. Taylor says the contributions from practioners and resulting case studies and commentaries are useful resources for fellow educators and should spark additional inquiry that advances efforts around inclusion, equity, and individual and institutional freedoms.
Ethics in Higher Education: Promoting Equity and Inclusion Through Case-Based Inquiry is available now for pre-order on Amazon, along with editorial reviews and more information.
