Catherine Corr, associate professor Special Education, and Robb Lindgren, professor Educational Psychology, were selected to participate in the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute's 2024-25 Emerging Research Leaders Academy.
Applicants are nominated by a dean, department head, or director and have shown research success as mid-career faculty members. The program offers leadership and team science training designed to prepare faculty members to pursue large, multi-PI grants, lead campus initiatives, enhance their own research programs, and position Illinois for research excellence.
Applicants are evaluated based on their commitment to the program (both anticipated attendance and enthusiasm), future leadership potential, and how their participation will benefit their career and campus.
