Congratulations to EPOL Professor and Education Justice Project Director Rebecca Ginsburg, who is part of a team awarded up to $100,000 from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for one of three projects in their Student Success Innovation program.
Ginsburg, along with Education alumna Karle Flanagan and others, will lead this project providing Illinois undergrads with the opportunity to participate in one of two semester-long courses offered at Danville Correctional Center in Spring 2024. For first-generation and underrepresented minority individuals who currently are incarcerated, this project also will reinforce a pathway to the university.
