Congratulations to the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and specifically Lynn Burdick and Sarah McCarthey, as the College's B.S. in Elementary Education program was commended by the Provost's Office as being exemplary in terms of learning outcomes assessment for AY 2020-21.
Fewer than 10% of the 245 degree programs at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign that submitted progress reports received exemplary recognition. This top status is determined based on unanimous agreement among reviewers that the program should serve as a model for campus in evaluation and assessment.
