The Education Justice Project is accepting applications until Monday, October 3, 2022 from graduate students, faculty, staff, and community members interested in working in its college-in-prison program at Danville Correctional Center for Spring 2023.
EJP also produces the state’s only comprehensive reentry guide and seeks writers, editors, and distribution team members for that initiative. Reentry guide members can participate virtually.
These positions are not compensated.
Since 2008, EJP has been offering educational opportunities to incarcerated men at Danville. They welcome involvement from individuals interested in learning more about our state's prison system and the criminal legal system, while contributing to positive change.
To learn more, drop by EJP’s table in the Education Building South Foyer on Tuesday, September 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or attend a Zoom drop-in info session on Tuesday, September 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. CT.
